Nothing says “Maine” like blueberries! Pair them with old fashioned New England Clam Chowder and a craft fair and you have a day of fun for the whole family! Today’s Annual Blueberry Fair held at the First parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Kennebunk was no exception. This incredible festival had mother nature on it’s side today, giving visitors to Kennebunkport Maine ample opportunity to explore the incredible works of Maine Artisans, Artists, and Craftsmen while indulging in blueberry pie, cold beverages, hot dogs, crab rolls, and, of course, clam chowdah!
To beat the summer heat, visitors took tours of the historic church and browsed tables of pre-owned books and jewelry. And while the close came too soon (3 p.m.), the afternoon was free for sunning at our Maine beaches! This fair is gem, and this year was no exception.
