Maine Stay Inn & Cottages

On October 29, 2009, The Maine Stay Inn will unveil its new on-site spa.  For the first time ever, guests will have the option of indulging in a variety of luxurious spa treatments without ever leaving the Inn.

Envision this: a romantic winter weekend for two… dinner at one of our local fine dining establishments followed by a relaxing soak in our jacuzzi tubs and an evening in front of a roaring fire. In the morning, wake to gourmet breakfast delivered to your door for you to savor in bed or in front of a fire (of course, joining us in the dining room is always an option, too!).  Then pad over to our new spa for a romantic couples massage in front of a glowing fire, serenaded by soft, relaxing music.  Top it off with a Salt Glow treatment and steaming shower in the comfort of our on-site spa.  The following treatments will be available on the Maine Stay premises:

• Swedish Massage ~ designed for ultimate relaxation, this light to moderate pressure massage utilizes long, kneading strokes to create a sense of well-being and balance (from $95).
• Deep Tissue Massage ~ this firmer massage uses direct pressure to help relieve back and body stress, and the massage therapist will target specific muscle groups requiring more pressure (from $105).
• Maine River Stone Massage ~ combining warmed Maine River stones, manipulation and aromatic oils creates a treatment designed to soothe, relieve stress, and rejuvenate you (from $105).
• Salt Glow with Massage ~ awaken the senses and renew the skin with Lavender or Hibiscus Salt Scrub, containing organic exfoliating moisturizers, and follow with a light Swedish Massage and hydrating body sorbet application (from $135).
• Reflexology ~ attend to the most neglected areas of the body, your feet.  Indulge in warm towel wraps, exfoliation, and point massage that utilizes ancient techniques to heal the body (from $105

• Facial Treatments ~ individualized treatments to target your skin’s specific needs, using all natural, sea-based products to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate ($105).
• Companion Massages ~ the ultimate massage experience for two, as therapists simultaneously massage you and your companion (from $195).
