The Maine Stay has always been sensitive to those with allergies – to the environment and to food.  In addition to hardwood floors and clean-burning gas fireplaces, we use allergen-proof pillowcases, all-natural cleaning products, and unscented laundry detergents. Many rooms feature allergen-proof mattress and box spring protectors. All of our breakfasts are cooked fresh, and, although we don’t cook to order, with notice we will prepare safe foods for those with allergies.  Gluten-free cooking is one of our specialties. Please remember to tell us about your food allergies when booking your reservation!
